    Well, well (?)

The Great Physician's Prescription for Health and Wellness
    by Jordan Rubin

is an insightful glimpse into the reality that is our apparently inevitable tendency as Christians to hone in on some aspects of our faith and give blasé, if not somewhat ignorant, regard to some other parts...

It may be well with our souls, but it seems we are failing to uphold a similar wellness in body.

The primary Biblical appeal he makes is to 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have
         received  from
God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with
         your body.

God has designed an incredibly awesome plan for us, and he has also created some incredibly wonderful foods, promoting the potential for us to not only be well, but to become the epitome of health, productivity and vitality.
I don't think tthose m&m's will be our condemnation, and neither do I believe that cucumbers have the capacity to cool Hades' heat and bring us to salvation.  But I do believe that God has given us sense enough to make good choices based on the information and means he's provided us -- perhaps we should do our best with that, and pray He graces our efforts.

It's something to which we might do well to contribute some thought and prayer!  Hopefully more will come as more is read.

    Peace : )

How surprising, another verbalization of life's ponderings

But such speculation tends to be beneficial, so no worries.

I have been wondering a lot lately about what in the world my life is to be about and it just now occured to me that the reason it's taking so long to come to a conclusion is that mayyybe it's not all about this world. Haha that one only took me 19.75 years to conclude :].

    My life is to be about my Lord;

Serving Him, loving Him, and living to please Him.
Living this world and learning from the experience all the while with God's good help may be the way to do so, but perhaps the world is not the focus.  Just the means.

I will not waste time in the pointless things anymore, and i pray that God gives me discernment to know which ways to be best living for Him, the awareness to realize when I'm falling short, and an active, willing spirit to always keep me moving in step with everything that makes Him smile big, and nothing less.

I'm excited for everything to come, and pray that He will grace me with His help in every way possible to become the Woman of God that is most pleasing to Him!

No more aimlessness!  This is what I am to be about and everything else, I presume, will fall into place as a result.
    Praise God!
